The Skier's Lodge and Chalet Prarion - high quality chalet style accommodation at the foot of Mont Blanc, exclusive to Mont Blanc Guides

Valley accommodation for all our courses is of a very high standard, to allow for maximum relaxation and recuperation whilst in the valley. Our Saturday courses are based in The Skier's Lodge and our Wednesday courses in Chalet Prarion, both situated in Les Houches, at the foot of Mont Blanc in the heart of the Chamonix valley. Both chalets are of a similarly high standard, bedrooms being of various sizes with a maximum of two course participants per room. All rooms have their own facilities, either ensuite or private; see below for a full description of each location

Skier’s Lodge (Saturday Courses)

The Skier’s Lodge is situated just outside the centre of Les Houches, and has a fantastic view of the Mont Blanc range. It offers a large lounge area with bar and full UK satellite TV package, a swimming pool with terrace and hot tub/Jacuzzi, and a sauna. Due to it’s slightly larger size, we can also offer the following, subject to availability:

• Double rooms for 2 person occupancy (no extra charge if both members of the couple are course participants);

• Double rooms at Skier's Lodge for 1 person occupancy (requires supplement of 125€ for the week);

• Extra nights for the additional charge of 25€ per person per night (includes breakfast).

Hotel Slalom: If you'd prefer more privacy during the week, for a supplement of 275€ (twin share) or 375€ (single occupancy of double room), we can also offer rooms in the luxury Hotel Slalom, situated only 150m away from the Skiers Lodge. See their website for details.

On confirmation of booking you'll receive your course joining instructions with information on how to let us know about your required accommodation upgrades; tell us what you require and we'll arrange everything for you (subject to availability). Please note these upgrades are not available at Chalet Prarion (Wednesday courses).

Chalet Prarion (Wednesday Courses)

Chalet Prarion is about 1km from the Skier’s Lodge, and it’s high position gives a stunning view of the Mont Blanc massif and Chamonix valley. It too has a comfortable lounge area with full UK satellite TV package  and projection cinema, Bose IPod and Wi-Fi. Outside there is a decked area with alfresco dining facilities, loungers, and an eight person hydrotherapy hot tub. See their website at www.chamonixvallee.com for more information.
