Do I need to bring a duvet jacket?

A padded duvet jacket (either down or synthetic) is a "nice to have" item for the ascent itself, so certainly bring it with you if you have one already. It's definitely not necessary to buy one however as they tend to be quite expensive (often £200+) and you can easily manage with an extra fleece/wool layer.
