NORTH WALES TRAINING COURSES
Join our two day Mont Blanc training courses in Snowdonia, North Wales to provide extra training for our Mont Blanc courses as well as feedback on your fitness levels. The courses are run by IFMGA mountain guide Graham Mcmahon who works regularly for us on Mont Blanc, so you will be able to get clear personalised advice on where you are with your training, as well as how to improve any weaknesses you may have before leaving for the alps.

Two day training courses designed specifically as preparation for our Mont Blanc ascent program and run by fully qualified IFMGA mountain guides working regularly on Mont Blanc.

2 DAY INTENSIVE TRAINING COURSE
IMPROVE YOUR TECHNIQUE ON DIFFICULT TERRAIN
INDIVIDUAL FEEDBACK ON YOUR FITNESS AND HOW TO IMPROVE
DAY 1
A quick check to make sure you have everything you need for the day ahead, then seven or eight hours in the mountains getting a feel for what’s involved in climbing Mont Blanc. Moderate scrambling terrain focusing on moving quickly and efficiently, then a presentation on our Mont Blanc program with question and answer session. 1 : 6 guide : client ratio.
DAY 2
Introduction to using a rope and climbing harness then small teams learning to move together roped up on more challenging terrain similar to that found on the technical section on Mont Blanc. Learning to descend quickly on steep scrambling terrain while roped up. Fitness and training discussion including individual feedback if required. 1 : 3 guide : client ratio.
